Listening Circle

Dr. Whitney Howarth, Reverend Seth, and members of the Social Justice Committee will be hosting a two hour virtual Listening Circle on Israel and Gaza on March 13th at 7 pm via Zoom.
Listening Circles are part of the Restorative Practices tradition and are meant to create a space for people to feel heard and to hear others’ feelings. They often focus on a single topic/event centered on a harm that has impacted a community, directly or indirectly. These Circle conversations are structured and scripted with a facilitator who helps people share their own personal experiences. Listening Circles are not a place to debate, discuss, problem solve or argue positions. They are intended to be brave spaces where we share stories and heal.
