Backyard Chicken Meet and Greet

Are you curious about how to operate a backyard chicken brood? Or maybe you would like to get to know some chickens up close and personal for an hour and a half. Come sip a little wine, kombucha, or other refreshing concoction (just don’t share it with the chickens!) and let Jef show you around “Chix on 6th” right in the heart of Frenchtown Borough. He’ll share tips and tricks for managing a micro-farm of chickens. All participants will leave with fresh eggs from the hens they met! His hens lay a variety of colored eggs and have an even bigger variety of personalities and appearance. $25 per participant. All proceeds will support the fundraising appeal for Hunterdon UU.
