Virtual Social Justice Potluck with a Purpose

JaZahn Hicks, who is directing UU the Vote for the 2022 election, will be the virtual speaker at this church year’s first Potluck with a Purpose, to be held Sunday, October 16, at 12 noon. Please mark your calendar. A zoom link for the event is below. 

Hicks will describe the UU nation-wide, non-partisan effort to promote voter enfranchisement and citizenship through voting. Find out how you can live out the UU 5th Principle and participate in this worthwhile effort by texting, making phone calls, or taking part in other activities that Hicks and UU volunteers across the country are organizing. Last week, FUUFHC was represented in a 2-hour effort to call Kentucky voters about that state’s referendum which would change the Kentucky Constitution to permanently limit reproductive rights.

The last few weeks before Election Day, November 8, is a good time to engage in this worthwhile social justice activity — from home.
