Potluck with a Purpose: Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity

March 3 12:30 pm  |  Dodd Hall

1 Oak Summit Road, Frenchtown, NJ, USA

Please join the Social Justice Committee on Sunday, March 3 after coffee hour for the latest “Potluck with a Purpose” luncheon presentation. We will be learning about Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Tamara Guillou, outreach manager, and Susan Harkins, resource development director, will tell us the latest on Habitat. The organization addresses the huge need for affordable homes in Hunterdon and Somerset counties by partnering with families of limited resources to build homes. In the last 28 years, Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity has built more than 52 houses for people who otherwise would be unlikely to afford to own a home. The speakers will discuss ways to volunteer and donate.

As always, the Social Justice committee will provide a light lunch, including gluten-free options, to enjoy along with the presentation. Please contact the committee at socialjustice@hunterdonuu.org if you have any questions.
