Singer-songwriter Gordon Thomas Ward brings his unique song stylings to the Old Stone Church, opening the new season at the Old Stone CoffeeHouse.
No Depression Magazine calls Gordon, “One of the best singer-songwriters working in the Americana/indie scene today.” He utilizes a variety of instruments in his shows, which result in a varied spectrum of tonal colors. His songsare influenced by the singer-songwriters of the late 1960s through the 1970s, yet Gordon’s songs occupy a space all their own and fit into the contemporary folk rock, adult alternative, and Americana genres. He has worked with notable musicians such as Eric Troyer and Mik Kaminski of the Electric Light Orchestra and shared the stage with Natalie Merchant and Christine Lavin.
Partial proceeds from Old Stone CoffeeHouse concerts benefit FUUFHC social justice partner the Delaware Riverkeeper (www.delawareriverkeeper.org) which works to protect Delaware River Watershed waterways.
