Our Minister
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the First Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hunterdon County. As our mission states, we are a vibrant and welcoming congregation, committed to each individual’s spiritual journey, and honoring the rich traditions of Unitarian Universalism. We seek to build a community in which we can seek and find meaning, teach and live our values of compassion, reason, humility and respect, and help foster justice in our community and in our world.
I encourage you to visit us at one of our Sunday Services (9:15 & 11:00 am). You will find here:
* a community glad to see you and honored to get to know you;
* an opportunity to reflect on life’s most important questions through sermons, discussion, religious education, music, meditation, prayer, and silence;
* a religious education program that helps children and youth develop their own values and personality, rather than dictate what they must believe;
* A connection to centuries of Unitarian and Universalist heroines and heroes who spoke out for freedom of conscience and the goodness of humanity;
* a place where tears are welcome as well as laughter, where doubts are cherished as well as conviction; where we can seek a better world while being grateful for the life we get to live.
On behalf of this congregation, I warmly invite you to come and find out more. And wherever life finds you, may you know peace, wholeness, and the fullness of life.
In faith and love,
Rev. Bob Janis-Dillon
