Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

We at FUUFHC strive to be a vibrant and welcoming congregation of individuals who embrace shared principles while fostering each other’s spiritual journeys. We offer a warm, loving community committed to deepening knowledge and understanding of Unitarian Universalism.

Our Vision

As we look to the future, we see this fellowship growing as a community and its members growing as individuals. We believe this growth will come through teaching our children and youth, embracing our challenges with strength, courage, compassion and integrity, and partnering with other civic and religious organizations that work toward social change. We envision ourselves as a beacon of liberal religious values in the greater community, doing our part to build a world that is both just and sustainable.

We envision FUUFHC as a diverse, accessible community that meets the spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs of those who gather.

Our Values

We seek to live, teach and promote our UU values of:

  • environmental stewardship
  • community outreach
  • social justice/social change
  • unity and diversity
  • welcoming and safety
  • honoring the unique gifts that each and every individual possesses
