Membership

The Membership Committee helps newcomers to feel welcome and provides opportunities for visitors to understand how our Fellowship works.

UU 101 - Take a deeper look at the UU faith tradition and the ins-and-outs of Fellowship life.  What do UUs believe in common (and about what do we differ?).  What are the top 5 ways in which a newcomer can get involved?  How does one become a member (and why do so in the first place?).  The discussion is always lively, thought provoking and informative.  Anyone seriously considering becoming a member is strongly urged (just shy of “required,” but barely) to attend these classes.

New Member Sunday - a book signing celebration will be held during the regular service in the Old Stone Church. - A time to celebrate our newest members (and their children) in a special ceremony at the beginning of the regular service. For more information or if you have any questions about membership, contact membership@hunterdonuu.org. Another great resource for newcomers is the UUA website. Visit the For Newcomers page today!
