About Us

The First Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hunterdon County is a community of women, men, and children from many different backgrounds with diverse spiritual orientations. Together, we share a journey of spiritual growth and work to find ways to live our Unitarian Universalist principles while respecting the right to freedom of individual beliefs. You can read our mission and vision here.

A small yet growing congregation, we offer two services each Sunday at 9:15 am and 11:00 am in our beloved old stone church. The last Sunday of the month is one service only at 11 am. The Reverend Bob Janis Dillon delivers sermons three out of every four Sundays each month and special guest speakers take the pulpit at least once a month. Regardless of who is speaking, our fellowship is home to thought-provoking, inspiring sermons; engaging conversation; and warm community. Religious education classes are available for pre-school through senior high levels and child care is provided for the youngest. Between services we have an informal coffee hour where visitors, members, and friends can continue the discussions sparked by the sermon or just get to know each other and catch up on the week’s events.

We belong to the Unitarian Universalist Association, which represents the interests of more than one thousand Unitarian Universalist congregations, on a continental scale.
