Who Cares for Our Fellowship?

Members and Friends of FUUFHC may experience needs from time to time that may require pastoral care or other types of support, and we want you to know where to turn. Here are some options available to you when you need help…

Minister: Our minister, the Rev. Seth Fisher, has community office hours during the week at different locations—watch FB and FUUFHC Community listserv announcements for time and place—and by appointment, and can be reached at any time by phone or text at 908-899-2738. He says, “Mondays are typically my day off, I’m usually in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays and available to meet by appointment, and Saturdays are my writing day. You can generally expect a response to email within 24-48 business hours.  If you have something more urgent, please call or text…” the number above.

Pastoral Care Associates: We have five Pastoral Care Associates—fellowship members who are available to support you at any time—Jennifer D., Timothy B., Barb S., Doris S., and Erinn N.  These members support the work of the minister as laypersons and can be reached by email or telephone.

Contact the team at pca@hunterdonuu.org.

Caring Committee and Care Rings: The Caring Committee, in coordination with the Care Rings, can help with meals, hospital visits, and other special needs for Fellowship members. If you have such an event in your life or know of someone who does, [e] caring@hunterdonuu.org (Sandy L. and Linda H.). The committee always strives to balance offering assistance while respecting an individual’s need for privacy.

We are a caring community that wants to support our members and friends at any time, but especially in times of need. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of these individuals if that time comes.  We are here for you.
